Hello Jana, can you introduce yourself and your blog https://missbonnebonne.com/ ?

I am Jana, living in Bonn/ Germany. It has been four years now, that I started writing my blog MissBonn(e)Bonn(e). It started as local blog but now is read all over Germany. It is all about lifestyle, beauty, wellness, travelling, the nice things in life and my life as a mommy. It is always on the bright side of life – negative topics do not take place on MissBB. I love trying out new things, seeing new places,… about which I can tell my readers. All in all, it is all about the readers! And I am very happy, that I can celebrate MissBBs 4 th birthday with so many frequent readers!

What are your editorial habits ? (I write my own content, someone writes for me, someone proofreads me, I take my own pictures for the blog, I post a lot of videos ect…)

For me, it is very important to publish unique and authentic content. So I write every blogpost on my own. It is always about real stories, adventures, experiences and thoughts. No matter if it is a close to life post or a cooperation. Also the photos are taken by myself, which is time-consuming but as my blog is some kind of my baby, I put a lot of effort in it.

How do you use social networks ? Which one do you prefer ?

I use Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter, sometimes Tumblr. The most lively one is Instagram – I publish one to four images per day – often related to short stories. Instagram is a mix of snapshots and blog-pictures. I must admit, I am a bit addicted to Instagram and this is the channel, where I get most inspiration from. On facebook I post links to my new blogposts, I share some of my favorite Instagram pictures plus fave pics from other bloggers. Twitter is for sharing blogposts and reading. I use pinterest to collect inspirational posts and ideas plus I am publishing some of my blog-pictures plus links. Tumblr is a copy of my Instagram stream.

What are the meaningful moments of the development of the blog ?

One of the most meaningful moments was the one, when I talked to a business guy in my hometown. I wrote an article about his service without telling him in advance. That day, my article got published, he found out, that sales increased and was wondering, why this one special product got so popular. So he finally asked a customer who told him, that he read it on my blog! That was like: WOW, people are reading MissBonn(e)Bonn(e) and are getting inspired.

Who’s your target ?

Girls and Ladies from 16 to 40. Beauty-Lovers, Travel-Fans, Mummies, people from my area. But it is also men reading some of my blogposts.

Which are the most popular categories of your blog ?

My travel section and my mommylife section get a lot of attention. But as I am always writing stories, all themes are getting more or less the same attention. It is not only about the inspiration, but probably also about the entertainment.

Where do you find inspiration?

Instagram, Pinterest, other blogs, daily life. Magazines…I am running through the world with open eyes, always willing to take pictures, capture moments.
