Your assistant does the legwork, but it never makes the call. It finds the creators and shares them with your team in Slack. Before any creator is approved or rejected, it stops and asks you to confirm.
If something goes wrong, like a creator approved by mistake, it’s easy to fix: nothing has been sent to the creator yet, so you just change their status back in Upfluence or ask your assistant to undo it.
Your assistant remembers for you.
A week later, you can pick up the same chat and ask what changed, without explaining it all again.
slack · read thread upfluence · list_contributions Two more votes on Isaac Moore since Tuesday, both thumbs up. He’s now at 4 up, 2 down and still shortlisted in Spring Skincare. Approve him?
What your assistant won’t do
- It doesn’t contact creators. Approval changes a status in Upfluence; outreach is a separate step.
- It doesn’t approve on vote counts alone. You confirm every status change.
- It doesn’t watch the channel. Votes are read when you ask, inside the chat.
- It doesn’t post anywhere you haven’t named in the prompt.
- It doesn’t replace the campaign in Upfluence. Setup, payments and reporting stay in the app.
Run it on your next shortlist
Connect both servers once. The flow works the same in Claude and ChatGPT.
Yes. Once Slack is connected to your assistant, it can post messages, read channels and threads, and see emoji reactions. It never posts anything until you approve it first, so you stay in control. Your Slack workspace admin decides which AI tools are allowed to connect.
