Coalition for the Homeless: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless individuals and families.
Since their inception in 1981, the Coalition has worked through litigation, public education and direct services to ensure that their missions of fighting for affordable housing and human decency are realized.
A 7 years strong partnership
Upfluence’s ongoing partnership with Coalition for the Homeless starts in 2018, with the hire of three interns for professional reinsertion in the tech domain. Since then, the company has provided two full time positions for participants of the First Step graduate program of CFTH.
Alongside these training opportunities, the company helps the Boutique of CFTH with frequent donation of computers and professional clothes for interviews, and more recently a Christmas Toy Drive.
Gifted Campaigns to Raise Awareness
Upfluence’s influencer marketing agency gifted several full campaigns to the association, working with well-known creators on pro-bono content to raise awareness.
In 2022, Upfluence got nominated for the Corporate Partnership Award during the Women Mean Business Luncheon, hosted by the association.
Christmas Toy Drive Campaign: A Case Study
As part of the ongoing partnership between Upfluence and CFTH, multiple awareness campaign have been done. In 2023, Upfluence managed the ‘Right to Shelter’ Campaign, and a Toy Drive Campaign to raise toys donations for children in shelters.
In total, over 20,000 toys were donated, making this Toy Drive a success! 12 creators comited to post to create awareness.
An incredible Partnership
